conference is over : back at the sip
so we went to our final session this morning. pretty cool. the best part of the confernce was day one for sure. the breakout sessions were kinda eh...we saw some showcases of mosaic and north point, but the best one was this morning - how to empower and encourage songwriters. so all in all i was surprised. it was an inspiring trip and so great to be in chicago with the whole 11o5 crew. today we road with radkey and andrew to ohare, hopped on the train and came down to our fav coffee shop of all time, Sip Coffee House. of course it was the hottest day in the city because we had to walk about a mile with all of our luggage to get here. but now we are here and it is amazing. my cousin heather and her husband ian are coming to hang with us for a while. should be great! tonight we are heading for one last dinner in the city with my aunt and uncle then back to houston. it has been a great time in slc and chicago; we dont want to go. the plus side of being home is that good ol collings is waiting for me. yes!!!! the cubs game was incredible, as you can see below, just to hear 'take me out to the ballgame' was a spiritual experience. even though the cubs lost it was still amazing. and charlie hall was great as well. it is great to be led by others; i learn so much through that. here's to one more night in chi-town. cheers!
