in the city (chicago day 1)
yesterday was awesome. after a great meal on sunday night, we crashed at my aunt and uncle's place off of grand and racine. so cool. we slept in and eventually made it to the local coffee shop called 'the sip'. this is by far the best coffee shop i have been in. the people there were so friendly, the coffee was great and the ambience was outstanding. here are some pics for ya: after that we hopped on a bus and headed for michigan ave! we walked all the way to the end of michigan ave, hit up H&M of course, then walked over to rush st and the gold coast area. had to make it over to the other mac store as well! after some lunch at RA sushi and finding out the us got creamed in the world cup, we headed back down the other direction on michigan ave, across the river toward millenium park. once we arrived there we headed for some amazing ice cream and then up to see 'the bean': after hangin at 'the bean' we headed back to my uncle's place. about a 5 mile walk from michigan ave. so needless to say we got our walking workout for sure yesterday. we were ready to ride the train out the burbs. my uncle sig took us out to union station: where we got some food and then hit up the train. pretty smooth ride out to where we are now, south barrington, and we hooked up with everyone else - radkey, andrew, and cynthia and headed to gino's pizza. so a full day, but a great one none the less. now we are headed over to willow to get all registered and such. should be cool...
so cool...dude, I'm no longer reading your blog...I have to deal with envy. I do not like envy...If you travel outside the country anytime soon, then like our friendship may be in serious trouble :)
i'm pretty sure we are moving to austin. austin is rad.
peace
