i'm back!! got in late on sun evening after a long day - and i was greeted by my wonderful fiance!!! its sooo great to be see her again and be with her... we had a great day yesterday - bombin around town and just haning out. soo good. saw kickin and screaming last night - hilarious!! i love will ferrell. now i am at starbucks by good ol 540, waitin to meet kelly so i can get the rest of my stuff out of the apt - then moving it to storage. the band for the summer is finally complete!! with not a moment to spare. i am so excited to be with these guys and make music together. it is going to be grand.

so i here in the terminal at RDU, found a tmobile hotspot! yeah! a great way to kill some time. i am ready to head out to Cali - i cannot wait to see my wonderful fiance. and i am soooo excited to be with the band as well - ben, adam, and wally. it's gonna be dope...also, dan at pondo found a female vocalist to that wants to sing with us this summer!! yeah!! now if only she would call me back... this summer is gonna be great, and to top it all off, i am getting married!! man, what a summer! got a chance to hang with my boy jason gore after a great lunch with the sacred peeps today. he was over in eastern europe for about 2 weeks and it was great to see him. sounds like God used them in some amazing ways, i cant wait to hear the update. thats all from NC for awhile, i will pick back up in CA in a few days... til then....

many thanks to Will for showing me this amazing band from austin, tx - explosions in the sky. their website isnt very good, but you can check em out on itunes - great, great music. in other news...this is my last week here in NC til July...i am soooo ready to see my fiance - it seems like its been months since i've seen her...so yeah, i am headed out to CA on sunday evening for a month, and will be returning in July. hopefully this week wont be too hectic with packing and the like....we shall see....

last night was Sundays @ 7 and it was simply amazing. we had will goodyear from lobbyist and Nathan Asher. a great show. i am lovin these local raleigh musicians!! many thanks to all who came and esp. these guys for playin for us. rock on.

and boy am i excited!! i get to be with my FIANCE!! wooohoooo, i am so glad that our form of communitcation will actually be coversing with each other in person, and not on the phone. and in a week or so i am headed off to :: Ponderosa Pines Christian Camp....the webiste is FINALLY coming. hehehe...glad to see it developing slowly. i am excited to be up in the mountains, leading worship. enjoying nature and being with a lot of people that i love that i dont get to see often. it's an absolutely beautiful day here in NC, i am currently sitting outside of helios, enjoying the sun with a cool breeze. picked up a couple of new books this week, Jesus in the Margins and Post-Rapture Radio, i am a couple of chapters into jesus in the margins...on a day like today i am hoping to get some reading done outside. more thoughts to come... here are two shots from downtown la...the famed mayan theater where we saw rilo kiley and now its overhead last year, and another building by the jewlery district that we like! at the end of the week, sunday, we headed for DISNEYLAND!! we had a great time there, it was crowded but we never really had to wait in line for anything. yeah! we went to california adventure first, then over to disneyland. here are a few photos: probably my fav ride in all the parks, even though i dont watch the story during the ride. i'm such a whimp. on our way to the tower of terror, we ran into our current favorite super heros! Mr & Mrs Incredible. see if you can tell who they are... arent we sooo cute!! the end.
