noise
this morning in our service we showed the nooma video noise as a part of our worship. the focus of the morning was the difference between hearing and listening and when we were planning, i thought this could be a great tool for us to experience. and it went over well. i cant wait to hear about stories from this next week as to what God is doing here at fpc after what happened this morning. i am so blessed by fpc, what a great place. right now i am starting the second week of auditions for the 11o5 band. the first week was good, i am pretty confident we found our drummer, so that is really exciting! hopefully this next week we will have some guitarists show. we shall see, i am trying to surrender this process, but at the same time i know i have my own expectations. i will let you guys how it all shapes up. tomorrow i am taking another day to write - hopefully finishing the songs for the album. i am really excited about this project - i have been incorporating a lot of different writers from our body to speak into this project and write tunes. so cool. now i am just waiting on the budget to be approved.
i hope you're SO thankful that you have a large enough body to even HaVe auditions and options! :) it's nice to have somethin' to work with!

I love the noise video. Man, it's so good. We showed it to our high schoolers one week and it went over well too. Sounds like things are going well. I miss you guys!
