the story i find myself in

yes, i am still alive and everything is going well. it has been a crazy week from the end of camp til now, tuesday in houston!! amanda and i arrived safely last wednesday and my sister and dad picked us up from the airport in my truck!! yes, my dad and sister are amazing!! they packed all my stuff from NC and attached a Uhaul trailer to my truck and drove out to houston. they arrived on wed afternoon and picked us up around 7pm wed night. then on thurs amanda, carolyn and i drove all around town while my dad worked. then friday was move in day. the only thing was that i had to work from 8am-1pm. so getting in the apt early and moving in was going to be a chore...so we thought. i left early fri morning and called my dad around 11am to find out that the door was unlocked and they were moving in!! yeah!! i must say that my sister and amanda are amazing - they moved everything in! i was stunned and totally blessed. so a big THANK YOU to them. the only thing left to move when i arrived was the bohemoth (sp?) - my huge red entertainment center. after everything was in we started the unpacking process friday afternoon and stopped around 5pm. we got cleaned up and headed to see batman begins!! i must say i love that movie...on sat am my sister and dad left early and amanda and i continued the unpacking process. i love our apt - it is so amazing. i will take some photos this week and post them by friday... sunday am went great, they introduced amanda and i in the 11o5 service and announced that i will be the new worship leader for the service. worship was great and the morning went very well. after church it was back to the apt for more unpacking, we finally finished after some Target and IKEA runs and headed over to cynthia's (my boss) house for dinner. then came monday, my first day of work! through this whole weekend amanda got sick, i think she caught what i had at camp...... :-(, so she just chilled and finished putting everything away at the apt. the first day was good, tons of info - meeting people and the like, but all in all a great day! and it was awesome to come home and have amanda there and have the apt all put together!! last night was hard, it sucks that we are going to be apart until the wedding...i just dropped her off at the airport 2 hours ago and i already miss her soooo much.... that's the update for now, it will probably be a little spotty as far as posts go, i am working on getting internet at the apt, hopefully this weekend.... peace out
